The Group Workshops are held either at the studio at the Abbotsford Convent or at MAC in Hawthorn and offer a safe and calm haven for reflection and relaxation away from the day-to-day routine. It is an opportunity to experience the creative-making process as a way of deeply engaging with and expressing our emotions.
Group sessions give you the opportunity for creative interactions, where we share this experience and interact with the materials to create representations. We are here to engage with the experience of our lives and what it means to us individually.
Through the process of creative expression and engaging with what we create, we may access new perspectives, reach a state of well-being and even learn new things about ourselves and how we react in reoccurring situations of stress and conflict. Group workshops can also offer a space for connection with others, which can offer a sense of participation, belonging, and community.
When you participate in a workshop or course you are gifting yourself a weekly art retreat that deeply nourishes your unique creative expression and may offer you a sense of emotional calm and balance.
